Cultivating Resilience Across the Congo Basin

Networking Events

We organize conferences and workshops to unite agroecology actors from Cameroon and beyond. these gatherings are vital hubs for peer-to-peer learning, knowledge exchange, and building the relationships necessary to scale our movement.

Technical Assistance

NEPAC provides direct support to members, smallholder farmers, and rural communities. Through training and mentoring, we provide the practical tools and expertise needed to adopt sustainable, equitable, and productive agroecological practices.

Advocacy & Lobbying

We are a vocal advocate for policies that support agroecology at local, national, and regional levels. By mobilizing our members and engaging directly with policymakers, we ensure that the voices of ecological farmers are heard in the halls of power.

Research & Eduction

Knowledge is our greatest asset. NEPAC supports the documentation of traditional and indigenous knowledge alongside modern scientific research. We publish articles and host educational events to share these findings with the wider world.

Partnerships & Collaborations

No one can change a food system alone. NEPAC actively seeks joint projects and shared resources with organizations and individuals globally who share our vision for a resilient and healthy agricultural future.

Resource Mobilisation

To ensure the longevity of our impact, we focus on identifying diverse funding sources and building robust mobilization mechanisms. We explore strategic partnerships with national and international institutions to fuel the agroecological transition.

TESTIMONIALS

Sustainable Cassava Value Addition

Young people often see farming as ‘backwards,’ but NEPAC showed us the business case for agroecology. By focusing on climate-smart cassava processing, we have trained over 1,000 farmers. We are proving that you can be profitable while protecting the earth. My business, NAN-AGRIC, is a testament to how ecological principles can drive modern economic growth.

Sahelian Women in Agroecology Transition

After fleeing conflict, we had nothing. NEPAC helped us pool our strengths into a collective. We’ve learned advanced techniques to manage water in this scorching sun. We now produce tons of maize and onions without chemical fertilizers. Being part of this network has turned us from victims of displacement into pillars of food security for our community.

Promotion of Resilient Agricultural Systems

Before transitioning to agroecology, I used many chemicals that made my pineapples sour and exhausted my soil. With training from the network, I now use only organic waste—chicken and rabbit droppings. My fruits are sweeter, my soil is healthy, and I no longer worry about the health risks of synthetic pesticides. It is a total transformation of my livelihood.
